High cholesterol levels can result in excessive fatty deposits in blood vessels and cause cardiovascular diseases like congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, and so on. It may also lead to diabetes which comes with its own set of complications – possible vision loss, liver malfunction, kidney failure, nerve damage, and so on.

Obesity can lead to adrenal fatigue
This is a state where you may experience fatigue, body aches, digestion problems, disturbed sleep, anxiety, and so on. Adrenal glands are located just above your kidneys and release several different hormones that regulate different body functions. Being overweight may put more pressure on them and they may not function effectively, leading to adrenal fatigue.
Maintaining healthy weight can lower Osteoporosis risk
Women are more susceptible to osteoporosis – where your bones become weak and porous, losing their density – especially during menopause; being overweight increases that risk significantly.
